I did get my Log Cabin quilt finished Friday night. Yeah!!
I used Hobbs 80/20 batting, a golden brown Isafil thread and the Just Curls design from Quilter's Niche.
The photos are NOT great! Have you ever tried to get a quilt to lay on the back of a leather couch? It isn't easy at all. My language got a little rough before I finally just took the photo.
Is it just me or is blogger? I had to upload my photos in my Picasa Web Album to get them uploaded to my blog.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are having a great weekend!

WoW! Your quilt turned out more than beautiful! And I love the border. Sigh...I think I drooled on my keyboard...so pretty. Hope you don't mind if I stare.
Your quilt is beautiful! So much lovely work, I'm in awe!
Great quilt Rhonda!
Beautiful quilt. Well done.
What a gorgeous quilt!! I have a leather couch and can fully appreciate what you went through to get the picture. And, no it's not you, I have to use Picasa also.
what a wonderful accomplishment, not only the quilt, but good photos too...I don't have a leather couch, and have no desire for one. (faux) Suade maybe!
very nice. I like the way your placed your blocks
WOW! That is stunning! Makes me want to make one with a similar design. I love the diamonds and how you placed your blocks. GOOD WORK! LOL! about the couch. Mine is microfiber so I don't have to worry about it slipping. But someday I would love leather.
That is absolutely gorgeous!!!
I finally resorted to uploading Windows Live Writer and use it all the time instead of blogger. It is so easy and the pictures upload instantly.
The log cabin is marvelous. It also looks huge.
That is just gorgeous
Hi, first, not it is not just you with the photos. Another friend of mine has troubles with it also.
As for the leather couch, I have a leather recliner and have the same problem when I try to lay a quilt or block or anything on it to photograph.
....my address is.......
Fabulous! I have a book of patterns for quilts like this, and someday, I will actually get to making one! It is a LOT of work, but so worth it! It is stunning!!!
I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when you were trying to photograph and the language got rough. :-)
A beautiful finish. I love log cabin blocks and I think your quilt looks really spiffy.
This is beautiful. Can you tell me are the dark blocks 1 " and the light block 2"? Love it and always nice to see a finished project, especially one this beautiful.
