If you are looking for the giveaway, you can find it here. I will be drawing the winner on Wednesday!
So I worked this evening on getting all my blocks together for my Log Cabin quilt. Now I just need to decide if it needs another row of blocks down each side. At this point, it measures 70" x 84" without the border. If I add a row down each side it would measure 84" x 84", which is more the size I would like. I plan to add a pieced border made out of the darker fabrics so that would add some more inches.
I just can't decide! So I will let my blog friends decide for me! Leave me a comment telling me what you think. On Saturday, I will count all the comments and do what you, my friends, think.
So here is a picture of it in its current state.
Please tell me what to do!!!
Hope you had a great day!
Rhonda

If you have enough fabric to do the 2 rows, I would go with that!
It looks great! I love it!
I think I would add the two rows. It's stunning!
hmm...add the rows unless you want a rectangle...
I suppose the question is
if you make it larger
will you still want to complete it?

Gerry
I say add the two rows and maybe no borders... Right now it reminds me of a Milfay a delicious pastry that I used to get in Montreal at the Jewish bakery. There is a picture on this site 8th row down.

Wow! It looks wonderful!! I have no words of advice as I'm a newbie quilter. I just had to comment that I loved your little sneak preview that you posted and how it "blossomed" into this quilt! Awesome!
WOW!! Lookin' great!!
I vote not to add more rows, but I prefer rectangle quilts to square ones myself. :)

I like it the way it is now.
You quilt is stunning! If you have the fabric, it sounds like you would be happier with adding two more rows. However, it is beautiful the way it is!
I love log cabin quilts, and yours is beautiful. I think you need to do whatever is necessary to make it the size you really want.
My suggestion is to add more rows make it 84x84, and then add a border. If you want a rectangular quilt, make an extra top and bottom border. Just did this on a quilt and looks good. I love the quilt and want so much to make a log cabin too.
Wow it is gorgeous!! You did a fantastic job. I like the look of the rectangle myself. But you should ask yourself this. Will it bug you every time you look at it that you didn't add the extra rows? If you know it will then add them. You should be pretty close to the size you want with the border it seems.
I agree with the others, no matter what you decide it is beautiful!!!

Absolutely beautiful. I personally would add the two rows, but either way, it's still a stunning quilt.
