A Quilt Finished!

First of all, if you have left a comment on a recent post and didn't receive a response from me, blame it on Yahoo.  After just sending 5 emails in a row, Yahoo blocked me from sending any messages.  I am planning to change the email address I have associated with my blog in the next day or so.  I realized this is because there are certain human beings that believe hacking into email accounts and sending spam is an acceptable practice.  Those certain people make it hard on others and what they do just really makes me MAD!  This had happened to me recently and was so upsetting.  I just don't understand why people feel the need to do that or those that start virus's so they can disrupt so many people's enjoyment of the internet.  So enough on that subject, because I am sure you all agree.

Over the weekend, I was able to get the Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt loaded on the frame and quilted.  I used a design I purchased from Georgette at Quilter's Niche.  I really like the way the design turned out.  I used leftover jelly roll strips for the binding.

Here is a photo of the quilting on the back.

Would love to hear what you think!!!

Hope you are having a great day!

Rhonda

Hi Rhonda, That is so pretty! I love those colors. The quiting on the back is superb. Great job and congrats!

Another beautiful finish. What machine are you quilting on now? I love the design on the back.

It's beautiful...I love the pattern too.

Do you have your own frame for long arm quilting? that's so nice!

As to yahoo...been there, done that. I had my account stolen. It was funny actually. The person, I hate to call people names, but he was a moron, sent a note to all my contacts telling them I was stranded in England and couldn't get home. I WISH! I've never even been on a plane, let alone most of them know exactly where I am/was. I was alerted quickly and was able to resolve the issue. =)

I had an email that said a friend was stranded...knew she wasn't so didn't even open the email....what a pain.

Quilt looks fabulous! I never thought of using leftover jelly roll strips for my binding, thanks! I do love the quilting, it looks so smart!

I also have gmail and have never had any problems.

Love the quilt and the quilting is perfect. Our main computer was invaded by a trojan/worm this morning - waiting for the tech to arrive to mend it. I'm having to use the laptop - it and I are not on very friendly terms - lol!! I hope you get your email straightened out. I really like gmail.

Sorry about your email problems....

That turned out so pretty! Thanks for sharing it with us. I like seeing how other people put blocks together and how they quilt them. That is what I have the biggest problem with.

I've had problems with all my email accounts, not just Yahoo. Sorry for your problems!

I love it. I personally am struggling to get much done lately so I am living vicariously through all of you making and finishing up quilts. Beautiful! Hugs. Tammy

It looks fabulous, Rhonda.

Isn't it a shame that some people have to waste their time by being so distructive? I totally agree with you.

Rhonda,
How wonderful! I had to stop myself from wanting to reach out to the computer to touch the backing. With this finish, now you can watch the season finale of Project Runway on Thursday with no guilt of having to finish it. Because you know the season finale is going to be too good to tape :)
Kudos again on the sampler!

I think it is beautiful! I love the colors. I am thinking Yahoo has had some issues. I started getting lots of emails from our SIL. Our daughter called and told me not to open them. Seems somehow his yahoo address had been hacked. Then I also had problems sending emails. Hmmm, maybe I need to look into getting another email address too.

Your quilt is beautiful. I like the wave pattern you quilted too. I am another who uses and recommends gmail. For anyone who thinks they've been hacked, it would be a good idea to check your computer for viruses.

Nice job on the quilt.

Do they ever find the people generating all this spam. All I can say is they must lead pretty sad lives if they have nothing better to do than create all this junk.
