Got a couple of things done!

First of all, Sara, I got your Jelly Roll in the mail to you yesterday!  Enjoy!

I hope everyone had a great time doing the Hoppin' Good Eggs giveaway.  Congratulations to all the winners!

I was able to get my third block done for the Jelly Roll Sampler quilt along finished yesterday.  I managed to follow the directions right up until the end.  What is bad is that I actually read the directions and made a mental note to myself about the end construction.  And I still didn't read my mental note!  Caught it 2 seams before completion.  By then I decided to just leave it the way it was.  I should have turned 2 of the 4 patches a different way.  The end result is close to being the same.  You and I will be the only ones that know I did it wrong!  If you haven't started the quilt along, it isn't too late!  Just head right over to Moose on the Porch Quilts!  Here is my third block!

I also completed my Red, White & Black Log Cabin quilt.  I finished it a couple of weeks ago but just now got the photos taken.  It ended up being 108" x 108" and I think very pretty!  Here are a couple of photos of the finished quilt.

I offset the Log Cabin design to add some interest to it.  I really like the way this one turned out and it will probably be going to a new home tomorrow.  I think it will be very loved in its new home!

That is it for today!  Hope everything is going good in your world!

Wow! Your log cabin quilt is beautiful. The offset design gives it such a dramatic effect. I hope you are patting yourself on the back - great job.
